When you order, on your form, write in the name or phrase you want engraved, exactly as you want it to appear on the jewelry, whether in English or Hawaiian, in the special order information section to ensure a verification of your selection. (We will also engrave names in other languages if you provide us with the name as it should be engraved.) We will upon receipt of the order call, fax, & or e-mail you to confirm your name or phrase selection.

The Hawaiian language is a simple one. Consisting of only 7 consonants ( H, K, L, M, N, P, W ) and 5 short vowels, (A, E, I, O, U ) no long vowels. The only letter that does not sound like its English counterpart is the letter "W". Its sound is that of the letter "V". Most people do not know it, but the word Hawaii is usually pronounced incorrectly. The proper way to say it is {he vä´è, -yè }.

As you go through the lists of names, you will notice that some Hawaiian names share many English names. For example Stan and Sean share the Hawaiian name, Kana.
